Only once humanity is regeneratively healthy, can the Earth regeneratively heal.

The mission of Earth Conscious Life is to make these connections indispensable for people through community and art focused on holistic solutions.

 History has shown that sick people create sick ecosystems which create more sick people. And when we are sick, we cannot collectively solve the great ecological challenges at hand. This trend must be reversed.

The fate of Earth's biosphere, and the future of civilization, hinges on this trend reversing. And we have already seen this trend reversed in people's lives all over the world.​

Making The Need To GROW taught us that healthy people, when informed with solutions, and inspired by real world stories, work together to create healthy ecosystems, which in turn support more healthy humans.

Rob Herring

FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Rob Herring directed and produced the award-winning film The Need To GROW, narrated by Rosario Dawson and seen in over 175 countries. He co-founded the platform Earth Conscious Life as an environmental filmmaker, citizen journalist, and musical activist. Rob worked on the critically acclaimed GMO OMG, and produced the film InterReflections, a follow up to the world-famous Zeitgeist Trilogy. As a musician, Rob writes songs for health and eco activism, and headlined the Rock For Nature concert in Berlin for 25,000 people. Rob is also a Certified Holistic Health Coach and is the cofounder of Integrative Pediatrics.

Ryan Wirick

FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Ryan Wirick is an award-winning filmmaker and writer, as well as a film editor and cinematographer. Since becoming a father, Ryan has focused on film/video projects that highlight solutions to critical problems in the world, and the people behind those solutions. As a journalist, he was given an Orange County Press Club Award. Ryan graduated from Chapman University with an MFA in Creative Writing, an MA in English, and a BA in Philosophy. There he received the Tom Massey Award, the John Fowles Award for Creative Writing, and the William James Award in Philosophy.

Joel Warsh

MD", MEDICAL ADVISOR

Dr. Joel “Gator” Warsh is an Integrative and Holistic Pediatrician in Los Angeles, California. He grew up in Toronto, Canada and completed his medical training in Philadelphia and Los Angeles. He founded Integrative Pediatrics and Medicine where he practices today. He has been featured in numerous documentaries, films, podcasts and articles.

Nikki W.

DESIGNER & ANIMATOR

Nikki W. is a designer, animator, and graphic artist whose work has been integral to the Earth Conscious Life brand, including in website design, social media, film graphics, and most prominently in the creation of posters for The Need To GROW and other Earth Conscious Films productions. She is a proud interior designer, focusing on optimizing indoor and outdoor personal spaces with the beauty and benefit of plants.

C.A. Gabriel

COMPOSER

C.A. Gabriel is director, writer, and film composer whose work has been featured in commercials, documentaries, and the Grammy nominated Bill & Ted: Face The Music, for which he wrote the title track. He also co-directed, co-wrote, produced, and composed the SXSW hit The Relationtrip (Hulu). As part of the Earth Conscious Life family, he has scored the award-winning The Need To GROW and several short films made by Earth Conscious Films.
